Are you interested in the exact release date for the ARK: Survival Ascended map: Extinction? This map is set to release on December 16, 2024. Extinction is where the ARK story reaches its final stage of survival. Set in a ruined Earth filled with titans! This release will also feature the new Dinosaur: Dreadnoughtus, classified by Wildcard as a Titan killer! This map will be available on all platforms: XBOX, PS5, STEAM, and Windows 10!

Extinction will be the fifth map released for ARK: Survival Ascended. Other maps released so far: The Island, Scorched Earth, The Center, and Aberration.

What to Expect in the Extinction Expansion
Extinction was a fan-favorite DLC in the original ARK, and the Survival Ascended version aims to elevate the experience further. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming:

1. Enhanced Environments

Will SquirtleArk servers have Extinction map available?
Yes! SquirtleArk servers will have Extinction available the moment it is released, the same as official! SquirtleArk always has all new ARK maps ready the exact time/day it is released! Furthermore, all maps on SquirtleArk can be transferred to and from! Bring your survivor, all of your gear, and all of your dinos to any map on SquirtleArk.

The following servers will have Extinction available the same time as official:

SquirtleArk ASA PVP 15x No Wipe Server
SquirtleArk ASA PVE+ No Wipe Server
SquirtleArk ASA PVE Primal Descended Server
SquirtleArk ASA PVE Primal Nemesis Server

Please note that, same as official, transferring items/dinosaurs to Extinction will be restricted for the first week. You can still transfer your survivors to Extinction, and you should! But you cannot bring dinos/items to Extinction to promote a balanced start for all players. Items/Dinos CAN, however, be transferred from Extinction to any of the other maps.
